I think it's because Shanghai is a big city, richer, so people there are generally taller than the poorer area counterparts. Also bear in mind that it's China, not SEA where short genes prevail. Even in rice countries, people are getting taller. Even in SEA as a 5'4 guy, I look like a joke. Let alone in China

It was ok, the flights had awful turbulence and with any long flight it gets fucking boring, the plane took a route over the Arctic Archipelago, that area had the the most severe turbulence i have experienced in my life. 1 hour of constant plane drops and shaking. Middle East hot as usual, visited family the usual stuff.
