my local community college recently launched a program that gives graduates free tuition. hearing this I threw myself at studying for two months, getting my GED this past month and submitting the college application that same day.
when I got to picking my classes I had to set up an appointment with a counselor since I was a first time college student. during the appointment with a female advisor I mentioned my account said I owed money for tuition and she said not to worry about it and they are still ironing out the kinks. days went by and I kept getting automated messages to check my account which I did every time.
Today I called the school and after they bounced me around to different departments I spoke with a man who you could tell was a chad, he had that happy tone that makes it obvious he has never had a bad day in his life. he told me the free tuition only applies a year after your graduation day because it's aimed at school graduates.
so tomorrow night I'm getting automatically dropped for failure to pay.
I want to kms, I don't know how to face all the people I told I was a student now.
