I've been thinking about how suicide is probably the most logical thing that anyone can do, it's essentially the most well reasoned course of action when a form of life with higher thinking capabilities, I.E. humans, is confronted with the actual necessary reality of life. It's pretty obvious that people would want to do it if their life is particularly bad, but they're held back by the animalistic instinct to not want to die.
It should be noted here that this isn't advocacy for suicide, the most logical action that one can take for their own self benefit is not necessarily the most moral or virtuous action; which in some ways overpowers the purely logical factor of this. You shouldn't rope, but ultimately it's only natural and logical for that to be something that one wants to do.
