You will pay me money, for me to basically ramble on like a schizo about gender for 1 hour straight. But I guarantee you it will be mildly entertaining. You will pay me at least $300 an hour. And I will scream at you until I am tired. I don't have that much energy to scream at you. I think the most appealing thing about being a grifter is honestly the money and the dominance. Helping others I could care less about. The clout is nice. But the money must be as cozy as coffee on a rainy day. Because I KNOW YOURE WASTING YOUR MONEY. Other people, they need to actually do something or make something. But as a grifter, you don't even need what you make to work, be helpful, or for it to make sense, or for it to be what you claim it is. That's not the point. The point is that you sell them NOTHING but your own persona and world-view. You get SOMETHING for what is essentially waxing poetic. Something you can do on you arm chair.
As a grifter, I outsmarted you out of your hard earned dollars. Wasting it because you are entertained by my personal and insane sense of wisdom and you are bored and useless. You are wasting your money because you'd rather listen to ME, than listen to yourself. Waste it on my opinions about you that don't even matter.
Doing that, in what is essentially an attention-based economy must be the just the greatest job you can imagine.
