Brutal I want a friendship group like I see on sitcoms

Yes, yes, I know sitcoms are fictional but let's not pretend most normies don't have a group of friends like you see on sitcoms such as How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory or even The Inbetweeners JFL.

Imagine how EPIC it would be to have like 4 friends in your phone that you could just call to hang out with, often even hanging out all as one group. Having that banter, supporting each other, going places, doing things, etc.

Obviously this would not be a substitute for a girlfriend by any means but it would defo be lifefuel to have such a friend group. I have no friends now, used to have 2 friends but never a proper friend group.

Anyone else relate?

I relate but I don't believe this is true. I surprising amount of people are working, going home and maybe having a solo hobby or something. Many people have no group whatsoever (especially after age 21) unless they managed to start a family which is dwindling number of people

In my experience friends just leave you after a while and forget you existed. Everybody moves on, moves hundreds of miles/km away, finds cooler people than you, gets a girlfriend and forgets you, etc. Normies are always on the go and on the move and always meeting new people. You're just temporary entertainment for them in this phase of their life.

i legit only have 1 irl friend but we haven't been hanging out as much because hes been doing hella overtime for his japan trip.

I had a very good friend in primary school, haven't seen him since I moved schools at the age of 9 or 10. I tried tracing him a few years ago but, as he had a common name, there were loads of results.

Maybe I need to write to everyone with that name in Londonistan but even then he could have easily left the city (white flight). Gonna need a lot of 2nd class stamps! Hahahaha

This exact things has happened to me. I remember how I've tried to reconnect with him and how he literally told me that I was boring and uncool and had no friends while he was playing basketball with one of his friends.

He'd hang out with me one time out of pity, I guess.
The second time he left me on read basically, forever.

Never showed up and that was it.
