I visited my family’s cemetery where twelve of my direct ancestors on my maternal grandfather’s side are buried. The cemetery contains my grandfather, his father, his father, and it goes back several generations. Every one of my male ancestors was buried with his wife. Not a single one of my male ancestors was unmarried. And I can’t even strike up a conversation with a woman.
