So magic forces we can't see? If they want him to die, and if their say in the matter counts, they'da struck him dead by now. So either life doesn't want him to die, or life is too powerless to kill him and he shouldn't listen to it.
If being born ugly meant you should die, you would've died in the womb. But you survived. Which means you should live. Or at the very least, life should've kept its receipt because now it's too late.
This. I almost attempted suicide last year. Not doing it was the best decision I made. A year later, even though I'm not where I want to be, I've made a lot of progress. I also had a shitty living situation growing up, and getting away from it was the best thing I've ever done. Even if i'm still incel, my life will be better off. I'm actually starting to feel happy (not just delusional coping).
