I've just read a poem written by a famous decadent. Since I have nothing else to do I loosely translated it for you, there propably are official translations, but as I said, I had nothing better to do.
I also listened to this while translating:

Wresz, huczysz i potrząsasz kamienną opoką:
Ty potęgo straszliwa, wstań! Rwij ziemi łono,
Z rozdartych jej wnętrzności ruń lawą czerwoną,
Tocz odmęty płomienne na skorupę ziemną,
I wszystko, wszystko, wszystko niech ginie wraz ze mną!
Oto do przykutego do tej twardej skały,
Tam z dołu, tam z daleka, płyną ludzkie jęki,
Ryczące, jak wezbranych oceanów wały!
Biada! Biada!… Gdzież nie ma nieszczęścia i męki?
Kędyż nie dostąpiło zło? Z jakiejże strony
Nie wydziera się w niebo głos bólu szalony?
Biada! Biada!… Otom ja, w gryzącym łańcuchu,
Ja, głodny i spragniony, bez woli, bez ruchu,
Z poszarpanym przez sępa bokiem i wątrobą,
Trawiony najstraszniejszą ze wszystkich chorobą:
Rozpaczą beznadziejną — — ja, co mym widokiem
Gwiazdy straszę na niebie świecące wysokiem,
Ja, nędzarz, od którego nawet huragany
Uciekają, na Kaukaz kiedy się zapędzą;
Ja, wszystkim okropnościom na pastwę wydany;
Ja, jak słońce światłością, otoczony nędzą:
Otom jest cierpień ludzkich wcielonym obrazem….
Biada! Biada!… O matko rodzicielko, ziemio,
Wzbudź te ognie, te żary, co w twym wnętrzu drzemią,
Niech runą — — i uczynią cię wodą i głazem!…
Gdy każdy atom ciała i ducha mnie boli,
Od wieków na tej skale cierpiący samotnie,
Współczuję dziś z człowiekiem, o! lepiej stokrotnie,
Niżem współczuł, gdym ogień z nieba dlań wykradał —
I gdybym dziś wszechmocą Przeznaczenia władał,
Ze wszystkich szczęść najwyższe rzuciłbym ludzkości,
Nicestwiąc ją i grzebiąc na wieki w nicości!
Boils, rubmles and shakes the rocky foundation;
You formidable power, stand up! Tear earth's womb
From her rended insides spill red lava,
Push the fiery host onto the crust,
And everything, everything, everything will die with me!
Here to this one, pinned to the hard rock,
There from the bottom, from afar, flow human cries,
Whining, like rough rising ocean waves!
Woe! Woe!... Where isn't there misfortune and agony?
Where didn't evil reach? From what side
Doesn't the crazy voice of injury reach to heaven?
Woe! Woe! That I am, in a itchy chain,
I, thirsty and hungry, without will, without movement,
With a ragged by a vulture liver,
Digested by the worst ilness:
Hopeless despair — — I, who with his gaze
Frightens stars that shine up above in heaven,
I, a pauper, from whom even hurricanes
Flee to the caucasus when they go further than they wanted;
I, handed out to all horrors and their mercy;
I, like the sun surrounded by light, am surrounded by misery;
I am a painting of human agony....
Woe! Woe! O mother, earth
Waken the flames, the heat that in your insides sleep,
Let them forth — — and they'll turn you into water and stone!...
Like a tiger hidden in a shoreline thicket above water,
Lurking for a gazelle, blood and murder pants:
So unfortune lurks for humans relentlessly
Forever, everywhere — — So the compelling fate wills it.
Today, that I know, the whole pathethic impotence of human will,
When each atom of my body and spirirt hurts,
For ages hurting lonely on this rock
I empathize with man, o! A hundredfold better,
Than I empathized when I was stealing the flame from heaven —
And if today I controlled the omnipotent power of Fate,
From all goods the best one I'd hand out to humanity,
Destroying it and burying it in abyss!
