I was hesitant to post this in Inceldom Discussion because Joker maybe isn't an incel movie and is just a movie we all like. But if people wanna foist this movie on us, then okay.
You might've heard how there was a concentrated effort to carry Captain Marvel by repeatedly going to see it/buying more tickets than you were actually gonna use. I'm not saying how much impact that had on revenue, but that is a thing people tried. I think if we want Joker to be an example of the kinds of movies that should be made and the messages that should be presented, we should make this movie as successful as possible. I wouldn't suggest this idea if I didn't think there was any hope of this happening. Joker is already breaking all kinds of records, that means we've got a good head start. And this was when people were afraid to go, for fear of getting shot. Imagine what next week will be like! Or instead of imagining, you can try and make next week as successful as possible. Drop off is something pretty much every movie experiences, and we want this movie to have legs.
And if we somehow DO make traction with this and people are like "Why are incels carrying this Joker movie is that a sign that it's a toxic and problematic movie" we can be like "We support this movie because it advocates being considerate towards the kind of people you would banish. We just want what Arthur wanted from Thomas Wayne: Compassion."
