Of course I think leaving the power wound be the best for Venezuela but the fact the army is loyal to him kinda protects him and his government.
If Donald Trump wants to take him down, he would have to send thousands of american soldiers to fight, and I highly doubt he is gonna provoke a bloody war for Venezuela. Maduro is a narco of course, but just as half of the LATAM leaders. In Mexico the cartels are much stronger and move more drug and money than Cartel of the suns, and still USA doesn't much about it. In Mexico they literally rule some towns and have the partial controll of a third of territory.
