Just a hypothetical I was thinking of.

Would it be worse to never have experienced the love of a woman at all, or to have put so many hours into one particular woman for years. Countless nights spent awake and calls spent with each other, her sending you nudes, you sending them back, etc, all the “I love you”s and “I’ll never leave you”.

Only for her to later stab you in the back later and leave you for chad, telling you that you could never live up to him.

Good question. The way things are, I'd choose the former.
But soyciety hasn't always been permitting to things like these. There was a time when such betrayal was culturally shunned and even punished.

In my country, 50 years ago, people who cheated were severely beaten and i am not living in some muslim country.
