With my poor looks and aspergers have basically the same capacity to interact with the world as a guy with down syndrome or low-functioning autism has, but they aren't aware of their trucel state. I, on the other hand, am aware of every single moment of my life, yet I'm completely powerless to change it.

Your wish was granted when your mother gave birth to you

I wish I had autism but looked good. As least there would be a chance. Without looks, there is no chance for me. Doesn’t matter how great my “personality” is

What I meant in this thread is that if I was less functioning I wouldn't really be aware of how over it is.

They are probably aware to some extent tbh. Sex and romantic love are coded into everyone’s genetics

Cope, you will be aware of your situation one way or another eventually

So low IQ?
It's less about IQ and more about how aware you are. Just look at kids with down syndrome, you really think they know how over it is for them?

No, and I guess that's both a benefit, and a downside. :feelscry:

i think they know, everytime they are photographed, they smile so you dont see them sad on photos

I've thought about this before—being self-aware feels like a curse. Plus, your condition would be more noticeable, which would lead to better treatment and understanding.
