Today I received a letter saying that on Monday I drove 37mph through a 30mph zone. I got a choice of paying £85 ($117) to attend a speed awareness course or a £65 ($90) fine with 3 points on my license for 3 years. If you get 12 points on your license you receive a temporary driving ban.
