About a month ago I quit my job as a Mechanic in formula 2, I hard worked for a solid 4 years to be where I was but it was not what I expected. The job comes with extremely long hours, the pay isn't good and I was away from home a lot. So I said fuck it and quit mid-December. It was so freeing to not have to go to work and stare at graphs, be a cuck to my superiors. I had a solution for money, Since June I had been doing food delivery and package delivery on multiple apps on the days I wasn't working. This was great because it felt like free money to me as I enjoy driving. So now I do that full time and I'm making more than I was before. I haven't told anyone I quit, now life is more relaxing and it has freed up my time a lot. I get to decide when I work etc. In conclusion, you should quit your shitty job if you aren't enjoying it how you expected.

Happiest day of my life was few weeks after I had resigned from my job. I was coming back from the library and it stroke me as I was about to get in the subway : I could do whatever I wanted, I didn't have to worry about waking up early the next day, or the day after. I felt completely free for the first time in many years.
