DJI's SDKs are a mess, so there are many scenarios that the drone is technically supported but not some of its features.

They have a feature that let's you manipulate the drone via virtual command.

I expect it to crash, I will add a note to pilots that explicitly says that they cannot rely on it alone and should be ready to take actions.

I will focus on continuous update; no crazy movements and that. I will first test pitch, flying in 90degs to first waypoint. Then add the other stuff later, like "crab walking" (sideway) to a target by using roll.

This is the first time I will interact with real life machinery with code, especially when it involves flying vehicles.

It's not a code for a video game, but real life, commerical, professional use. I'm excited, but also anxious.

This is real life, with all its consequences and variables like air density and wind thrown in.

We will be using the Mini series for testing because they are cheap. The code may be deployed to Mavic later.

This is how I feel now, even though I am not the one flying.

I credit war thunder for teaching air vehicle physics @Cryotron

working on military things would be cool

must be way more interesting than just doing some software, you actually see your impact on real life thing.

considering how DJI drones are used
i still want to see how U.S or China made production grade FPV drones will perform like, not this civilian stuff modified for military use.

Waypoint missions can be used to do reconnaissance work. I think most drone usage is recon and not bombing.

Over for codecels

Did you also install the heat seeker and the fragmentation charge :feelsLSD:

Make an army of drones. Automate the manufacturing of those.
Make a custom AI for them to be operated by it, which you just have to command.
Make it so that your fully autamted factory has drones for the sole purpose of collecting (stealing) materials from all over the world to supply your factory to build even more attack drone.

Then take over the world.

On next update probably. For now, reconnaissance missions only.

Fun fact there is a way to make a "swarm behavior" code to use on protests.

It's illegal though. Firstly you'll be flying on restricted zones, and secondly this kind of flying is not allowed.

reconnaissance is very important.
I wish you good luck with your destiny

If you build a drone army to take over the world, you won't care about restricted zones. jfl

Fuck their laws.

Thats impressive, good job.
