DJI's SDKs are a mess, so there are many scenarios that the drone is technically supported but not some of its features.
They have a feature that let's you manipulate the drone via virtual command.
I expect it to crash, I will add a note to pilots that explicitly says that they cannot rely on it alone and should be ready to take actions.
I will focus on continuous update; no crazy movements and that. I will first test pitch, flying in 90degs to first waypoint. Then add the other stuff later, like "crab walking" (sideway) to a target by using roll.
This is the first time I will interact with real life machinery with code, especially when it involves flying vehicles.
It's not a code for a video game, but real life, commerical, professional use. I'm excited, but also anxious.
This is real life, with all its consequences and variables like air density and wind thrown in.
We will be using the Mini series for testing because they are cheap. The code may be deployed to Mavic later.
This is how I feel now, even though I am not the one flying.
