It does 90% of the vetting process before I even get to open my mouth and for that I'm thankful.

I used to wonder why? They don't really care that I have a brain or that I love STEM, or that I love to bake or that my waist is smaller than their heads or that I'm 90lbs or that I code in my free time. My skin tone is a barrier, it hinders me but it also protects me.

Also, unless you're a burn victim or have some horrible dermatology disorder—how does skin alone make you so lonely? Most of the world is brown. There are millions of people with your exact phenotype & ethnicity out there. I'm mixed, and I still find plenty of other Chindians. If white people aren't into you, then stop trying to date them.
