It has me completely obsessed, like since I was 12. Mongolia is like one of the things I can still feel something close to fascination for. I revel in my Mongol ancestry (if I have any). The nature is on another level. I love the steppe, the Gobi dunes, the Altai Mountains. Would love to naturemaxx there some day. Some good food like some nice boiled Mongolian organ stew. Culture with some dignity left. Nomadic life, eagle hunters, throat singers, shamanism, reverence for horses and the land. It's so peaceful. Low population density. I wish I was a Mongol warrior so much. Sounds like the ideal life. Genghis Khan and his descendants conquered the largest land empire ever through sheer genetic dominance and low-inhib aggression. Mogged entire civilizations and bred like conquerors. It's one of the last places on Earth that still carries an echo of that raw, unapologetic strength. I might as well be the next Baron Ungern and fight for Mongolia
Thanks for the images, Knajjd
