Aside from bland characters the worst part about JJK is how it kept killing everyone off. I understand it’s about muh ‘any character can die at any moment’ and muh ‘mature, dark series’ but this series just kills off characters nonstop instead of doing anything interesting with them.

Nanami’s death was just quit fuel, then they pretended to kill Nobara lol. All Shibuya arc really did was kill people off, no intrigue or drama or anything. Muh fights and killing. Which is fine I guess but I can’t understand how something so shallow is so lauded. Naruto never stooped this low but people will act like JJK is some kind of subversive masterpiece better than other popular shonen
