One of them had a grenade blow up in his face, leaving him blind and disfigured.
Despite that he was able to get a wife and went on to have 4 children.

Hundred years ago things clearly were different.

Because men were men and women were women. Now that gender roles are pretty much destroyed that's never coming back.
