I just finished watching the Joker movie and I need some explanations.

The movie was really good and I felt like it had a lot of deep meanings to it that I probably missed.

Arthur's mom was crazy, he is not in anyway blood related to Batman.

Who actually tied Arthur to the radiator when he was a child?

He was abused by his mother's boyfriend, his mom just stood by and allowed it to happen (I'm guessing the boyfriend was a Chad).
