With that being said, if any Narutocels can inform me of some of the things to look out for before watching, stuff like characters that you like, good fight scenes to anticapate etc

It's the worst of the big three shonen. Anything past the child gara arc is pointless and retarded. Modern naruto "boruto" is literal goyslop. Just avoid the entire thing

The show is good up to the end of the chunin exams. You should watch it but after finishing that arc, start skipping episodes. The drop in quality in Shippuden is too noticeable because Kishimoto was just making shit up on the spot with every release.

You can watch Naruto and Naruto Shippuden up until the Pain arc; personally I think after that point that’s when Naruto gets worse.

Honestly after you finish part 1 of Naruto you could skip watching hundreds of episodes of Shippuden and just play the Ultimate Ninja Storm games instead lol (start with UNS2)

Don't listen to the criticism of Naruto the other people already gave in this thread. Real niggas will appreciate every second of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, including the fillers and movies. Heck, if you become a trve Narutard you will watch all of Boruto like I did too (Boruto also has its moments in my opinion).

Personally I love the anime adaptation, but if you want a more focused experience the manga is a better choice. I could not imagine missing out on all the amazing openings and endings, insert/soundtrack tunes and voice actors the anime adaptation has to offer though. Not to mention the fillers also, which are especially good in Naruto. That's why I would recommend the anime over the manga for your first time experiencing the glory that is Naruto. It really is a series on its own level, I will say that much.

Its a solid watch but this could jus nostalgia talking, the last arc was the only one where i felt they jumped a little too crazy n too fast + dragged it out longer than needed

I loved the beginning of Naruto for how relatable Naruto was .He was my first Literally me character.Shippuden was good except for the filler then again I watched all of it when I was a kid.Overall it’s a B tier Anime overall

I would say the big 3 are all just shit. Bleach does get better and something new as the story progresses but there's a lot of filler. Naruto and OP are pointless to watch imo

As for OP I don't like the same repetitive style it has throughout the whole plot which is travelling to a new island, strong villain shows up, luffy defeats him after his teammates get folded and so on in a loop. I think Naruto and OP are not necessarily bad animes but just currently shit for me as I grew older and watched better animes

i can see this for super a little, but dbz there was a ton of buildup before anything crazy happens, i think only the majin buu arc had constant fighting the cell arc was a slow buildup until we got to see gohan turn up and beat the shit out of cell
