I'm worried to the point of certainty that @FrailPaleStaleMale is dead. I preach a lot about recovery, but he was one of the few inkwells, if not the only inkwell, I was positive I couldn't save. He had chemical dependencies that you can't just "therapy" away. It was the substance that killed him.

I never liked drugs, but basically watching Frail lose his mind and die is something like the last straw. Also? Lost in the Presidential election news, you might not have heard that South Dakota legalized weed. That's big news when you consider that South Dakota is one of the reddest states in the Union. Republican governor, Republican legislature, it's got Mount Rushmore, and if South Dakota says it's okay, how can any state say no at this point? It seems inevitable now. Every four years a new chunk of the country will allow it. Republicans for all their socially conservative bluster are against everything but drugs at this point. Except Tomi Lahren, I guess. She doesn't like drugs. But loves abortion.

I don't know how much I can rely on Republicans to uphold the standard that drugs are bad. You can bitch about how "liberal hellholes" like California are ridden with drugs, but once they're legal you can't make them illegal again. The only hope is to stop the advance now. And the only group that's doing that is the Prohibition Party. Essentially a joke of a party.

Did you know the 2012 Prohibitionist National Convention was held at a Holiday Inn Express in Cullman, Alabama? Not even a regular full Holiday Inn. A Holiday Inn Express.

Our candidate for President this year was a guy named Phil Collins.

I think we've all accepted that a Prohibition Party vote is a protest vote in the purest sense. The Prohibition Party was the original third party. It's not about winning any election or achieving any... thing, it's about shouting loud enough for people to notice "Hey there's people who still don't like drugs."

I will never understand conservatives who are pro drug

@ReturnOfSaddam look at this cuck. imagine wanting to restrict trucels copes

People taking drugs is sad news but what it they didn't take drug in the first place ? Drugs, just like cigarettes, is an individual choice. If you're being a retard using weird substances, why should the state be blamed or make law about it ?

Because people claim drugs are so bad, no one should do them. So how are we upholding this standard?

People need to be considered accountable to what they do to their own fucking body. The state can provide education and information, but it doesn"t have to pay for your retardation.

frail wanted to die tbh sounds fucked but its true

I think it’s more about the freedom to do them but still choose not to. At least that’s how I am. Certain drugs I don’t care if they are legal or not I won’t do them nor would I suggest others.

I'm sorry that Frail is gone, friend. I don't really drink at all because the people who did drink when I was growing up always repulsed me with their obnoxious behavior and angry, vicious attitudes.

understandable
Republicans don't give a shit
They are weak and afraid of losing young voters
Pathetic cucks

I am all for drugs being legal, but I hate it when people turn it into a civil rights issue. Imagine a couch potato who smokes weed all day and thinks he is a new MLK. LOLOL.

Drugs are bad, but I don't want them to be an excuse for big brother.

Prohibition is fucking cucked. You are a tool big pharma

This guy is a fucking retard lmao, literally a 47 year old man posting on reddit asking how he can enjoy the college house parties he missed out on. I'm not joking either, /u/FrothySolutions. Absolutely pathetic.

You know, I think prohibition may come back sooner than we might think.

The world is now engaged in a drastic reduction of individual freedoms for the sake of preventive medicine. Apparently saving lives can justify putting entire populations under house arrest.

I don't know the statistics but I think it's fairly safe to assume that alcohol kills many people, perhaps as much if not more than any kind of flu. Not just the direct effects on health are bad, but also the induced alteration of behavior, which can kill on the road and increase violence in the streets.

I think prohibiting alcohol would not be worse than forbidding people to walk outside or go to the restaurant.

It's also something that would please the Muslim world, so it might be seen as a way for the West to appease it.

I would not be surprised if we were hearing about prohibition more and more. Hell, today I've heard about this movement for the first time. Could be a sign.

You wanna know something about the Prohibition Party? The Democrats have the jackass. The Republicans have the pachyderm. But the Prohibitionists have the camel. Why? Because it can go ages without a drink. And when it does drink, it only drinks water.

But here's the thing. Originally it was a dromedary/Arabian camel. But then Camel Cigarettes came along, so they changed their party mascot to specifically a Bactrian camel.

Basically, the Prohibition Party was indirectly bullied by their enemy to change the mascot. Basically the story of the Prohibition Party. But I stand with them.

ban all drugs except for codeine because it makes me feel butterflies in my stomach and it's pure friendship fuel :feelsaww:
