Depends on what genres of movies you like. I recommend code gueass, death note, fullmetal alchemist, soul eater, hellsing ultimate.
All older stuff.
For comedy I recommend Detroit metal city.
For horror I recommend when they cry, (old one not 2020 release)
For slice of life guess date a live or aria the scarlet amo, zero no tsukaima.

Avoid modern zoomer anime like a plague. I.e darling in the franxx, cells at work, zero starting a new life in another world
