Fucking brutal. But yeah, something to look into if you're autistic, anxious or depressed. You get the doctor to give you a fit note (which they basically never refuse) which you then give to Universal Credit. They will book you in for a health assessment (the wait can be a few months, during which time you need to keep giving them fit notes).

If they find you to have limited capability for work, they no longer expect you to look for work. If they find you to have limited capability for work and work-related activities, they also give you like £400 per month extra too.

If you're NT and able bodied then you may be out of luck but otherwise, give it a look.
