Venting I have a love / hate relationship with anime

I know it's just a medium, but it's just so polarizing to me. On the one hand, it's decent cope, provides temporary reprieve from the usual boring ho-hum monotony of everyday living, and some anime are legit works of art masterpiece, but on the other hand majority of anime is so bluepilled and literally filled with chad worship. And that's not even touching on the demographic. Filled with absolute subhumans who completely lack self awareness holy shit. I actually went to a convention once and the look of disgust the foids at these anime booths give to fat norwooding subhumans was enough to make me nauseous. And the foids who cosplay for subhuman attention, while visibly cringing from male contact at the same time, need to be stoned. It's so fucking absurd. Just look at all the misogyny, yet simultaneous need to worship females and embody them through use of female avatars. You have nibs shitting on holes in one breath, while praising imaginary holes in another. It's like schizophrenia. It's so fucking over.

tbh you can say that about most things. foids intrude everywhere to get easy attention and money even if they are repulsed by the guys giving them that, they just dont give a fuck. And yes most shit is bluepilled af, many things in music, TV, videogames, academia etc. Most people cope that way and many people are unaware subhumans so that isnt surprising.

fe I like Monster Hunter but I dont really like Skyrim. They are both rpgs.
I dont have to like or hate the entirety of rpgs bc even though all of them have similarities (otherwise they wouldnt be in the same genre)
they still can be extremely different. And just bc Skyrim exists doesnt make me like Monster Hunter less. And just bc Monster Hunter exists doesnt make me like Syrim more. They dont necessarily have to do anything with each other.
I think with anime you can even have more variety. I dont understand this thinking. What does something like Yin Roh the Wolfbrigade or Barefoot through Hiroshima have to do with Dragonball or Sword Art Online? What does Digimon have to do with Welcome to the NHK? Or what does Blend S has to do with Ghibly movies or MEMEME? (And also what do the people that like them necessarily have to do with each other?) Sure they utilize similar techniques, are part of the same industry and come mainly from japan. But still there can be a fuckton of variety. On another note yeah annoying people that consume things you like are always annoying, I met some people that play Monster Hunter fe in person that I absolutely despise but its whatever. I dont have to play with them If I dont want to as much as you dont have to indentify with cosplay whores and weeby cucks.

I hope I didnt come over as a gay ass weeb, just wanted to state my opinion on that. nothing of that is meant as being rude to op and other guys in this thread.

I look at anime and I see the wholesome (sometimes) characters and keep thinking that's how life is *supposed* to be, versus this degenerate pile of worthless shit that life really is now.

I guess it's some sort of mental cope but I keep thinking life isn't meant to be this hollow and worthless.
