Venting I hate when people at work ask me to look for someone else when I can't help them

I only started working in retail and I find this really annoying. They come up to me and ask me a question and since i'm new, about 70% of the time I cannot help them. They then expect me to go and find someone else more experienced than me who will be able to help them, which can take several minutes sometimes and it slows me down.
Why the fuck can't they just look around themselves? They have a pair of legs and eyes just like me.
I don't mind if it happens a few times but today it happened every 5 minutes. I then got shit from the manager for working too slow when it was literally impossible with the amount of people asking me questions.
Fuck wagecucking.
