I understand disciplining your child when it has truely done something bad, criminal, maybe hurt someone, but in my case I was often either beaten for not reason, because there was a misunderstanding or for really minor infractions, like accidentally pulling the power cord of fhe VHS recorder which resulted in it losing uts memory of fhe correct order of television channels.

My father always lost his shit over this and would always beat me over the head many times.

Talking back, even if right was another MAJOR no no.

He really loved beating me.

He was born and raised in the Soviet Union, so not much different from Ukranians. LoL
