Serious I hate it when females are given masculine coded roles in the media.

For example in Naruto there are female shinobis. Why? There should only be male shinobis because it’s a violent job.

This is so common in anime and other forms of media. it’s ridiculous. I don’t want to see a woman doing masculine things. No female would ever do that stuff irl. Who are they trying to appeal to?


Not all shows make this mistake though. Vinland Saga is a wonderful show with 0 masculine female characters in it.

I remember watching that Hayao Miyazaki film called “Princess Mononoke” and stopping halfway through because of the roles of the foids. I remember there was a village where the foids took on the roles of men, who were relegated to the status of drones in a beehive. I find that director's films disgusting.
