I realised while being in India that a lot of my parents habits are things they learned from really really poor people who are our friends in India. Technically my parents became rich compared to how their parents and their friends in India live, because £350 a month of benefits is equivalent to full time salary in India. But compared to anyone who is westernised in any way it's peanuts. Fucks sake man. Even India is slowly but surely becoming westernised and shit is shooting up in price.
