Discussion I had the weirdest morning

Let me preface this and say I am not currently religious. When I woke up I thought about death and what happens after it. If there was a God I would be sent to hell. I can’t fake my faith when I start dying. You can’t trick God. What is eternal damnation ? Is it worse than I can even comprehend ? Which religion is the truth ? Is there a God ?
