No I'm not ranting about Silksong, I'm ranting about fucking normies being retarded and hype up a 2D scroller in 2025 like its the greatest ever and I got baited to get it from gym woman to try it out just to waste a whole afternoon if we include download and installation time

Rehashed idea from 30 years ago, you can reskin megaman and its probably gonna be the same, there are sidescrollers that are almost as good on the phone these days how the hell people think this game is remotely GOTY

I generally have no interest in indies, but i did give this one a piratry out of curiosity, just what is so good about it, i was thinking, and honestly, it didn't feel any better than the average game from NES/SNES era, at least i could finish those but this one was indeed too boring.

Overrated just because it comes from "le small team" (who are all drowning in money, by the way). Not much better than your average 2D side-scroller. The fact is that Hollow Knight's playerbase consists of people who usually play other kinds of games, mostly 3D fighting games, so they think it's special. You won't see long-time side-scroller fans praising it that much.
