I can appreciate music without lyrics. I like the way instruments sound in many songs, but the lyrics in modern songs are often cringy and ruin the song.
As for female guitar players, I've never heard a woman play the guitar with such creative genius and melody of someone like Mark Knopfler and even sloppy players like Kurt Cobain. Kurt was not technically/mechanically good, but his sense of melody was absolutely genius.

Women can obviously learn and play musical instruments, but it's rarely outstanding and creative to the point you get goosebumps and the melody stuck in your ears for months. I'm not just talking about modern 20th - 21st century music either.
