Anime con in the west is an absolute joke. Online communities tend to give positive feedback even when the cosplayer is genuinely ugly. Cosplayers in China are way hotter. Ugly foids will be shamed and won't even show up. Most of them allow you to take pictures even at lewd angles.

Yes, they are still attention whoring, but at least you don't have to deal with saggy tits and learn lessons about body positivity.

I remember when cosplaying used to be about a bunch of socially awkward guys coming together and having fun.

I can't enjoy a single hobby without foids invading it in order to attract male attention. Video games, online role-playing, anime, comic books, etc. These were all hobbies that foids made for yet now they're feeling "left out" because clearly men aren't allowed to do anything on their own without some toilet being involved.
