are now off to big unis, family status upgraded, clean slate, new environments. meanwhile there’s me, stuck in a 2 bedroom apartment with 6 people. they dumped all of it onto me during the most formative years. so i’m the one left dealing with the residue while they get to “move on.” fucking pissing me off.
they weren’t even friends either. just neighbors’ relatives that would constantly be around, so i was forced into proximity with them growing up. no choice, no escape. genuinely insane when you think about it, being a kid and having to tolerate some obese kid obsessed with fnaf screaming random shit, a disabled retard with a lisp who just parrots, and another guy obsessed with the napoleonic era.
people underestimate how much behavior is learned through exposure. even if you’re not genetically predisposed to being non nt, being surrounded by people like that will absolutely bleed into you. you start subconsciously mirroring their tics, sounds, timing, reactions. such subhumanity. your brain subconsciously mirrors that kind of shit even if you don’t even want to if you’re always surrounded by such weird subhuman non nt people
explains why i used to make such weird sounds as a kid, and why i continued to do so into my teen years. it wasn’t “me,” it was contamination from the environment.
not even just that but the neighbor’s eldest son sent me to a shit poor low income highschool full of children of illegal migrants. this is the retard that did my highschool application my parents entrusted into and then my parents get confused why i graduate with no friends, hilarious. i wish i went to a big proper highschool with some diversity.
this is why environment matters more than people want to admit. your brain is literally wiring itself based on what it’s around every day. put a normal kid in a chaotic, socially off environment long enough and you’re going to get weird outputs. then later people wants to act surprised or moralize it, like it came out of nowhere.
they got to escape and rebrand, and i had to spend years unlearning shit that was never mine to begin with. i wish i had some form of ‘normalcy’ of people growing up but these are the kinds of non nt subhumans im surrounded with constantly
