My childhood IQ and Army+Navy GT scores have an extremely strong correlation greater than 0.8 despite a mere correlation of approximately 0.67 between childhood IQ and adult ASVAB scores

0.84 (correlation between childhood IQ and adult IQ) x 0.8 (correlation between IQ and ASVAB) = 0.672 (expected correlation between childhood IQ and adult ASVAB score)

Interesting.

A lot of these government tests are IQ tests in disguise. They can't call them IQ tests for legal reasons, I think (not completely sure about that).

Yeah, my childhood IQ test score has an approximate 0.85 correlation with my Army+Navy GT scores

152 on a test with a SD of 16
Did you get it retested in adulthood or your later teenage years? Correlations between childhood intelligence and intelligence later in development drop as you get older, and then your intelligence becomes stable in adulthood.

Childhood IQ: 152

Army GT score: 144

Navy GT score: 141

I took the IQ test when I was 10 years old

I meant a psychologist-administered psychometric test.
I only took the Naglieri when I was 10 years old

No other IQ test afterwards (unless you consider the ASVAB to be one)

That's a little old for that test, but OK.
Not really, I think it has different letter grades adjusting the difficulty for each age group

Yeah, you're right. I just read that it's use to measure IQ even in senior high school students. I think at that point it's more useful to administer the Stanford-Binet or WAIS test.

hmm... I wonder if my scores on those will be the same or a bit lower

It'll hurt my ego if I scored lower :feelsbadman:
Of course. Objectively knowing you're less than in whatever way than you believed is going to sting.

Consider it a means of personal growth.
