Yk, i always catched myself thinking about this interview. How can a multimillionare worldwide famous, arguably psl good looking celebrity act like this? On national TV?!
You could argue he's just a looney mtfckr, but i dont think its the case right here.
Notice how genuinely happy (to the point of insanity) just by the fact that an also successful, good looking foid is into him too, to the point they are getting married and shit.
This, to me can only be explained by this:
He has an inferiority complex. Bcs hes a manlet. Also known in short as manlet energy.
They are always trying corny and/or self deprecating jokes (jestermaxxing) or in the specific case of tom cruise, trying to sound like everything is going awesome in his life and he's the most badass and charismatic guy in the universe (overreaching and tryhardism)
Other famous example is josh hutcherson. But his approach is even worse. He just sounds and acts like the most soyish, non threatning, boring beta billy you will ever encounter.
He also plays that same fake happiness shit tom cruise is guilty of, but its even more vile in his case. He is such a wimp too, its revolting
