How about work in healthcare? There is demand for workers in this field.

I'm not talking nurses but basic healthcare like working in elderly care or even a porter in a hospital moving patients in trolleys and wheelchairs from ward to ward and other hospital areas.

It's a step forward, rewarding and you don't have to work 40 hour weeks. You can do part time work and hospitals always have other types of jobs that you could apply for.
