Serious I don't want to be an atheist anymore. Are you an atheist, if so why?

I'm an atheist, not by choice. Both my parents and older siblings are atheist and have always told me there is no god. Once i became an adult i desperately tried to find faith in god but couldn't no matter how hard i tried. The atheist programming is so hard wired in my brain, i just can't get it out no matter how hard i try.

How about you are you an atheist? If so where you brainwashed by your parents to become one?
Any christian or pegan cels please PM with any advice.as to how find the faith in god

Just read literature, worked for me, crime and punishment, brothers karamazov, resurrection and a confession cemented my faith pretty hard. Are you Russian? If you are all these were written by Russians so you should get maximum benefit because no bad translations

kind of atheist. I don't believe in a sentient God, only a cold non sentient universal fabric that connects all sentient entities.

There probably is a god and he dnr/doesn’t care (deism). Which is like atheism in the sense that it recognizes and agrees that the world currently is objectively evil, which god wouldn’t allow if he gave a shit, but unlike atheism it doesn’t LARP with “science”. Like even if the world now is shit, theoretically, how do you answer for us existing and all that? I don’t think I came from a monkey or fish in the water or whatever that’s retarded. situation hard to relate, I can't imagine what is like having atheist parents and growing up as one.

being an atheist is a bit extreme, even for me. You can't 100% guarantee there's nothing else out there but also no reason to think there is; hence why I'm agnostic - "nothing is known or can be known of the existence or nature of God or of anything beyond material phenomena."

Just think about creation. The millions of possibilities of the aftermath of the Big Bang. But yet it creates life. Also, understand that theories like the Big Bang and evolution are hardly falsifiable theories. They can just make up how it happened and you can’t say they’re wrong.

Also, God creates each persons soul, character and body. Why is it you’re not assigned to someone else’s body in china or something? I mean evolution doesn’t account for the development of souls. The actual spirit that experiences life. I can look at an animal and see life. But they don’t have a soul. They don’t have thoughts or experience life.

We can put all the coping to the side. You can’t look at 1000s of years of human existence and then tell me that after we die, that’s it. Just lol. It’s not true at all. And I KNOW, someone is going to say this is cope. That I feel this way because I don’t want to feel insignificant. But it’s just the truth. It’s foolish to think that life somehow generated from nothing and then to nothing it shall return. Almost like it never happened.

There is a lot of scientific evidence for the big bang. The blackpill is rooted in evolutionary psychology and evolution. The concept of genetics being everything is a secular idea.

Happens with many other organisms.
Also until recently humans were the only species that were assumed to go to heaven but religions have made accommodations for such things like dog heaven (brutal dogpill btw) because people wanted to hear that their pets would experience heaven too @Lv99_BixNood

Both micro and macro evolution. Starting from the time sexual reproduction in organisms evolved and with it sexual selection. The process of that evolution is a form of micro evolution from asexual, single celled organisms to more complex, sexually reproductive, multicellular organisms.

The blackpill is about sexual selection. Sexual selection arose through evolution of organisms that need to sexually reproduce. Which goes far back beyond humans as a species and back to the evolution of complex, multicellular life itself.

It's an age old question that nobody has the answers to. But at the very least the blackpill idea that genetics and evolutionary fitness of men is everything and the most important in life is incompatible with young earth creationist ideas and literalist interpretations of creation and putting the creator first.

My parents are deists, and I'm atheist. Not by choice, but because it is what seems the most likely true. You can't choose what you believe, unless you're not interested in the truth.
I could be convainced that maybe some sort of deistic nebulous God exist, but I don't see any good arguments in favor of the christian and muslim fairytales.

i mean supposedly there is the "fall", which is why humans are in a fallen state

The blackpill (as it stands today) says everything except being attractive to women is cope and you see discussions about this here reflecting that daily. This is arguably a form of idolatry and a distraction from putting a creator god first. By emphasizing that some people have "better" genetics than others and have superior evolutionary fitness you are approving of a eugenecist type of view that goes against the creator god's commandment that you love god's creation instead of chasing after vanity and upholding beauty above all else.

i saw the blackpill as saying that the most important thing for attracting women is looks, while money and status also mattered but to a lesser degree.

this forum would probably argue that getting laid with women is more important than God. and perhaps that's what you meant

i just viewed the blackpill as describing the way the sexual market in general works. not that it said it was the end all be all or more important than religion necessarily

The blackpill that "looks matter above all else to women" is compatible with religious views of creationist religions like Christianity. But as you know that isn't the only part of the blackpill and is just common sense (physical attraction is most important in attraction).

The part of the blackpill how women are "wired to seek dark triad tall, good looking Aryan male seed" as people like @Lv99_BixNood love to post about is definitely not in agreement with most creationist religions. Because from this observation of how women are wired to chase after a small portion of men it contradicts how in creationist stories god made women as a helpmate and companion to man. But from actual observations it would appear that god made women for chad. If that was true it would be stated in these creationist stories but it isn't.

It contradicts the idea that god made women as a helpmate and companion to men. Making women that only chase after a small portion of men (and this is even seen in how women lusted after Nephilim giants and Eve was easily tempted by the snake) seems more like a sick joke than the act from a benevolent god. The idea that women are hypergamous to the extent that they leave hordes of men to die sexless and alone and as a result for those men to be looked down on and despised and more prone to depart from the faith arguably makes a mockery of god.

And what does it say in the bible? That god is not mocked. Unless you are open to the possibility like redpillers are that god was shit testing men by making women's nature deliberately difficult lmao @ReturnOfSaddam

Why would god make women with a fallen, hypergamous nature to start with though? As you can see from everything else he created aside from the devil taking the form of a snake, everything was as perfect before the fall as anything. There were no storms. It always rained at the same time of day. The weather was always pleasant. There were no weeds. Lush gardens grew everywhere. There was no war or murder. The average lifetime of humans was several hundreds of years (according to the scriptures).

And if the reasoning is that "so that Adam as a man would show he could lead Eve", that suggests that Eve was deliberately made with that flaw. But god does not make things flawed. He is perfect and his creation was originally perfect.

And even suggesting that women are hypergamous suggests you don't believe that god knew what he was doing when he said he would make woman as a helpmate and companion to man. Did god lie? God cannot lie according to the scriptures. So imo ultimately you can't believe in all aspects of the blackpill and believe in Abrahamic creationist religions at the same time.
