As someone constantly working in vastly different domains, I would like If my work was limited to web development (asp.net/JavaSpring) or one field only.
Let's be honest, who likes dealing with pointers and async shit all day?
Fun for bragging rights but other than that, it's not so cool anymore with deadlines and pressure.
The unpredictable nature of these frameworks mean that no one will be able to relate to your suffering; even other developers will think you can fix something as easily as if you were on web development (just make this button work, just breakpoint this and that).
Web dev usually pays better anyway.
All in all, I just want to make a "hello world" button that works every time, then go home without being blamed for bugs or being singlehandedly responsible for 5+ of these vastly different domain apps. Screw all that complexity.
Sincerely, a resentful dev forced into android/drone/C++
