There was one minor green flag for Restore when they proposed banning halal and kosher animal slaughter, it could mean a couple of Jewish communities leaving the country. But it doesn’t mean that much on its own.

I don’t have high hopes for any political solution that still operates within a liberal framework. Rupert Lowe, at the end of the day, is still a liberal. Even if he and his team win, they would face coordinated resistance from courts, bureaucracies, NGOs, and other institutions when trying to enact their policies. Something like mass deportations would need some form of martial law in a loose sense like what Bukele did in El Salvador, to then destroy the system.

If they don’t plan on utterly destroying the system, then nothing new can be built.
