I want to produce things, but producing things of significant value requires high intelligence.
Artist, writer, programmer, physicist, scientist, engineer. All of these have a romantic quality and a social role which I wouldn't mind fulfilling. It's annoying I lack the genetic prerequisites.

I feel you man, I look at great men like nikola tesla and their great inventions but can never scrape the surface of their knowledge :feelsbadman::feelscry:

JFL at wanting to contribute to a society which despises you.

If you do it for personal reasons then fair enough.

Eh. I was in a band that was REALLY bad around 15 and was actually getting somewhere(Making money off shows, drawing a crowd, local radio play), but my legs got cut out from under me. Then I pretty much just did LDAR.

It's discouraging to know that I had something going that would at least get me beyond regional success if I kept working at it. I think I'm going to attempt it again just with a completely different genre, and by myself.

It's true that I would be "contributing" in some sense to the current society. But as a scientist, no matter how small my contribution to science, I would also be contributing to every society that comes after the current one. I would also benefit something independent of and greater than society, the collective understanding of science.
Whereas if I were a retail worker or waiter or Wall Street banker I would really only be benefiting the current society or none at all.

if you try to be productive society will just shit on you, the same thing if you're unproductive.

Then produce unsignificant things which are significant to you. Start drawing, even if you suck, you'll get better over time. Or anything else you like doing really. You suck at first but over time you become good at it.

Productivity is subjective, and besides, you can still help improve the world, and even make it a better place by contributing in things such as art, programming, philosophy, writing, etc without looking like Brad Pitt.

>programmer
you mean code monkey? Requires 0 intelligence.

The only time I've been genuinely productive was when I was a warehouse worker. I decided I wanted more (Because I could do more), thus I quit and applied for an Arts Uni yet here I am...I legit tried to be an actor and it almost seemed like I was going somewhere (getting accepted at the Arts Uni helped) but then...
1 of the TV shows I worked in only had it's pilot released, a few more episodes were filmed, but then got stuck in post-processing limbo...and never made it out
The other TV show didn't pay (initially we weren't even provided food)
Wrote a full-on movie script in 2 months, got IGNORED EVERYWHERE (Locally anyway)
Audition for vidya VO, got rejected HARDCORE

As noble as trying to become productive is, BE WARNED, multiple failures with are pure Suicide fuel, especially when you TRY multiple options only to be BTFO at ALL of them. If you can somehow become more than a wagecuck, do yourself a favor and try to innovate in a field you're passionate about. Otherwise, I'd only advise going for safe bets. Taking your chances, if it doesn't result in a lifefuel experience, will be so bad you'll be worse off than before.

Honestly, I've done more behind a keyboard than pretty much any cubicuck has ever done. (See signature) Being "productive" in today's society means aiding the elites who oppress us.

A builder doesn't and they procedure massive things.

Yeah. I hear/feel you. I am dealing with the same.

I cant find the motivation to

Same tbh, I tried to self-teach programming for 5 years until I gave up. :feelsrope:

You don't really Need a high IQ to be an Artist or writer, and when it comes to programming and Engineering you can compensate for low IQ to a degree by Diligence. At least you are ambitious and active, which is a gift in and of itself which many incels lack, just try to immerse yourself into something that interests you.
