I lurk on r/suicidewatch and most psychiatrists are a waste of time from what I gathered. Most of the time they just stretch out the therapy to as many sessions as possible to maximize profits. The takeaway here is that if you can't find a reason to live on your own you can't find a reason to live.
Psychiatrists can be useful for drugs and support. I'm just pointing out the looks taboo in the psychiatric milieu. After a while, smart male psychiatrists necessarily notice patterns in their depressed male patients, yet they must act like they haven't noticed them. Blackpilling your ugly patients about their ugliness is contrary to medical ethics; yet I'm not sure bluepilling them is any better.

Most of them are actually the most delusional people you will meet who just tell you what they think you want to hear. Their suggestions and advice are not much better than the simplistic inspirational wall cat posters you’ll find in any mall. And they love handing out pills not really knowing what the pills might do. “Try these for a while and see if it works”.

My experience was good for the most part (Except for a certain period of time), I've had problems since I was a child.
If you live in a cucked place it might explain it, cause psychiatrists have different opinions regarding the psychiatric definition for
