I don't get the hate for the island section in Resident Evil 4

Why is the island section in RE4 hated? I hear it goes on too long, but honestly I think it's perfectly paced and contains some of the scariest moments in the game such as the regenerators and u3. My only real complaint is that the final boss is a little disappointing as well as the ending.

Besides that the island section is probably my favorite next to the village.

Also, what's the hatred for Ashely? I never found her difficult to defend. I enjoyed the extra strategy she added and missed her when she was gone. Honestly, if people had issues with her dying they're probably just retards who can't plan into the future

Ashley in the original is cute, sexy & easy to look after while Ashley in the remake looks 30 at 20, runs all over the place & never shuts up during gameplay. The hardest level in the original is the part with the three Gatling guns which doesn't even involve Ashley
