I rewatch Blade Runner 2049 all the time. It's such a cool movie, and I think having a JOI girlfriend would be absolutely terrific.
I especially like how she treats him, changes her clothes and stuff and tries to keep him happy. She puts a hologram of a steak and fries to make his slop food seem not so bad.
She even rents him a real prostitute for a night.
The 6th day also had a hologram girlfriend.

Real foids don't have personalities like this at all. At least I've never seen a foid behave this way to me or anyone. Most foids are just so unpleasant they'd expect the guy to entertain them and buy dinner.
Realistic sexbots are so far away I think it might not happen (at least not good ones) even in 15-20 years. But a holo girlfriend should be possible. The AI generated foids using Wan 2.1 can already get good enough. Maybe not video yet, but that's coming soon for sure. And we should be able to use augmented reality glasses like the Apple Vision Pro, or Microsoft HoloLens.
Both these products tanked bad. But all they need to do is make JOI and release it only on their headset. Bingo, you'd have the killer AR app right there. I'd easily spend $2000 + subscription for a JOI.
But unfortunately this is the best so far for Quest 3? It looks like garbage, like a cheesy video game.

Making a realist JOI in AR glasses seems so fucking obvious to me, the technology is there or should be there by now I'm surprised the Jews aren't all over this idea yet.
