Not worth the hassle because skinning it for so little meat as a beginner takes a little too much time (skill issue for me). It’s like skinning a small fish but you get even less meat sometimes. rabbits on the other hand taste good and are worth it.
Id just use squirrels for target practise and feed them to dog/cat or whatever carnivore pet you have instead. i dont have pets.
