I dislike chinese and korean fantasy aesthetics.

I just do. I don't find them interesting. I think Japanese fantasy is just more appealing in general. Anyone else feel this? What's your favorite fantasy aesthetic?

I'm a big fan or near-future fantasy. Like 2030/2040ish. Not like androids and shit, but futuristic guns, technology that seems feasible yet still feels realistic, skyscrapers but not metropolises with flying cars.

If that doesn't count as fantasy, then I fucking love the kind of fantasy that Bloodborne portrayed.

I love Japanese fantasy settings (I mean isekai fantasy, kimetsu no yaiba, and Kara no Kyoukai).

I used to enjoy western fantasy but not anymore, imo euro/western fantasy can not even match the amount of world building and character building that is done by Japanese fantasy (for me at least)
