Every peace of modern anglo literature I read was wrote in overblown manner, containing unending avalanches of words used just for their complexity, and no value. It seems to be written rather by a merchant trying to lure his client by flashing trinkets at him than a scholar. Every information, even every word is put there just to shock and impress a reader. They will fall into most outlandish ideas and conventions to separate them from other traders, of course trying to have gain from it. I noticed same thing within their essays and videos. To be a merchant is a virtue to them, I suppose.
