the red/white pill is basically a relabel of stoicism.
the blackpill has elements of nihilism, pacifism, Kafkaism which are relatively new (19th century)
but nihilism isn't blackpill, it is a facet of the blackpill.
while the roman empire fell due to blackpilled men, with the final straw being
the bachelor tax, I don't know of a link to ancient times.
the thing is, most philosophies are incomplete without the blackpill.
if you are stoic for example, and not blackpilled
you will be wasting a large chunk of your life "self improving", while holding society afloat
only to be stuck in place.
if you are stoic and blackpilled, than you do the bare minimum
and live efficiently while retiring early, rather than get a degree, carrier(if you are lucky)
only to lose it in divorce rape.
