I avoid eye contact out of fear. I am afraid that if I look at someone in the eyes they will see how weak and pathetic I am in my eyes. I am most of all afraid I will notice how much they hate me. How much they are disgusted by me. I dont want to take the risk of looking someone in the eye and noticing and them noticing me in turn. Eye contact is a game a chicken, or like some kind of duel that is unnecessarily hostile. Normies should not take it personally that autists like me don't like eye contact.
This is why we need AI. So we can trust machines that don't personally hate you. Humans in contrast can personally hate you and even bully you.
People who make eye contact are wild that they can look people in the eye, because it's almost like they don't fear the consequences of what it's like to make body language mistakes.
You know the japanese are autistic as fuck that they literally have a greeting Yoroshiku onegaishimasu (よろしくお願いします)-- it means at its most literal, "please be kind to me." If we said this in english we would just get bullied for being so weak and weird to request something like 'kindness' from the people we need to interact with, but in japanese this is just polite and pragmatic behavior.
The worst kind of person to make eye contact with is a cool and confident female, because they are most likely to get increasely disgusted by your presence as you interact with them no matter what.
