I got two interviews at mcdonalds and othewrwise I never got told if my applications were accepted or denid.
First one was with a foid interviewer who with her tone I could tell she didn't like me and she was never gonna accept me.
I had hope with second one cause it was a kinda chubby dude and we started talking about video games, at least he was honest and said if I didn't hear back within a week things went south

What job? I have tried to apply for online customer service, but they are either liars and ask you for training fees, or they ignore me.

File clerk, front desk, kitchen, convenience store clerk, supermarket cashier, supermarket tallyman, McDonald's waiter, coffee shop clerk, restaurant waiter, proofreader, online customer service, dishwasher
I worked part time as a waiter and part time as a dishwasher for a while, but once they found someone better, they told me not to come back

I know someone who is a proofreader, it is a great job. Especially if you want to work from the comfort of your own home without needing to interact with people. You can get away with slacking off a bit, or you can get all the reading done early. Best job in my opinion if you enjoy it, it's just that the money can be very little.

If you don't walk out of the interview with a job day 1 yea they didn't want to hire you. Job interviews are not fair so you might as well get a cheat sheet going and lie if you gotta.
How do people even get into comfy jobs like that? Also I thought AI basically made human proofreaders obsolete.

Maybe it's because some of the work requires human assistance to AI. For example, if the AI recognizes a mistake, the boss can't blame the AI, but the human employee can bear the loss.
